Let's not forget the gay marriage debate which is still raging to this very minute, while the entire Christian world slumbers joyfully in an eggnog fog.
Obama's recent choice of Pastor Rick Warren to give the invocation at his inauguration has the entire gay community with their tidy whities in a collective wad. Still ranting more than a month after the election that saw Prop 8 (Defense of Marriage) passed decisively, the gay activists now feel betrayed by the man in whom they put their *Hope* for *Change.* Since they spent so much money on the election, the radicals seem to feel that they have purchased the loyalty of the President Elect.
I guess we are not in Chicago anymore, Toto!
The radicals are not going to give up in this matter, and have enlisted the aid of the network news broadcasts to help them continue to brainwash and intimidate the American public into submission.
Meanwhile, Christians and conservatives are back to their own traditional Little Jack Horner politics, by sitting in the corner congratulating themselves on what good little girls and boys they are. They got past that nasty business without having to get their hands too dirty. With a collective sigh of relief, they have turned their thoughts back to their nice, white-flight suburban ghettos, far away from the overly dramatic antics in West Hollywood, or the great mass of unwashed illegal aliens crowding the cities, or the so-called conservatives who were trained in the liberal universities, and are now running America's corporations. Why they hardly notice all the sell-outs that are bragging that they are *greener-than-thou* as they attend junior's soccer game or the princess's ballet recital in between working 60 hours a week at the office.
However, the fight is not over, and it it time for Jack Horner to pull the thumb out and stop congratulating himself before the radicals grab his Christmas Pie and smash it in his face!
The radicals are still working hard and doing their best to win the debate in the marketplace of public opinion. Of course, when conservative ideas are presented in this marketplace, we win, because our ideas are better, and our voices are more rational. But if we don't show up for the debate, we lose by default.
